Born and raised in South London and of Jamaican and Montserratian heritage, cktrl (pronounced "control") is a self-taught producer and classically trained clarinettist whose music blends classical, ambient, jazz, and R&B influences.
Through acclaimed releases such as Robyn, zero, and yield, and his latest record, spirit, cktrl explores themes of love, healing, vulnerability - crafting work that is both culturally rooted and emotionally expansive.
